PureRoller - Dermal Rollering - Treatment

Hello Lovelies,

Sorry it's been a while things have been rather busy:

But I am back....and with a slightly different angle. I recently got my dream job working for the company Dermapure who specialise in Cosmeceutical treatments and products. As I am in training a lot at the start of my job I thought I would share some of the treatments I have had done.

Last Weeks treatment was Dermal rollering. The concept is to run titanium needles on a roller over the skin to create controlled injury. Your skin then thinks it is injured and sends all the collagen, elastin etc to the area and starts to heal and rebuild the skin. Brilliant for evening complexion and amazing for acne scarring sufferers.

I had a 0.5mm roller** and i'm not going to lie it's not the most pleasant of treatments but it's totally worth it.

                                                                 Me with make up on

No make-up (eye make up left on)

They pull the skin taught and work over your whole face going backwards and forwards

You can work closely up to the eyes and lips without going over them

Instantly after - slightly swollen and you can see the redness, feels a bit tight but doesn't hurt afterwards

You can see the redness on my neck - for the rest of the day it felt like I had sun burn and was tender - this is a normal reaction

This was around 9pm that evening after i'd had a shower it brought some redness and heat back into the skin.

I'm a bit crap as I forgot to get a photo of the end result: I saw a definite difference in my skin, it looked firmer and clearer I would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone.

Good for:

- Tightening
- Evening
- Acne Scarring
- Anti-aging

Pros:

- No prepping
- Quick Treatment
- Little down time (time to heal) - On the day it was tender, next day it was fine =)

Have a consultation at your nearest clinic if you are interested

Lizzie

** This is Dermapure's version of the roller, there are other brands out there and all have their own protocols. The 0.5mm can be performed by a beautician and a 0.25mm can be used for home use. This may differ between companies/brands and you should always follow their guidelines and advice.

Exciting News!! 2014 the year of change!

Hello Lovelies.

WOW! I knew the year 2014 would be a year of change for me but I wasn't expecting things to change so suddenly and amazing changes happening too.!

If you read my last post you know the year started off with me and my long term boyfriend splitting up. Although initially it was hard I have really come into my own since. My goal was to really enjoy life and spend as much time with friends and family as possible, say yes to as many things as I could and get life experience.

I can honestly say I never thought changes would happen so quickly especially within my career. For the past 4 years I have worked along side DermaQuest, DermaPure and Youngblood products. They are absolutely amazing and it's no secret how much I love the company as I tell everyone even in my current employment who doesn't stock it. I have been lucky enough that for the past three years I have gone down to London to help the Dermapure team out with the ProBeauty event hosted at ExCel. I always have a ball and it's been great to get to know all the team and the other side to the company.

Last Wednesday I woke up to a voicemail from my local rep asking me to ring her, I did so and after I rang the CEO of the company to be told that the Northern Rep had handed her notice in and the job was mine if I wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can imagine my excitement and after listening to what the job entailed I accepted.

My whole career has been working up to this, my goal was always to have my own business or work for a brilliant company. Seen as tho I've had my own business and hated it this was my next target. I can't wait to start although a little nervous!

I believe life only throws at your what you can handle....and with my new mind set and lease for life i'm looking forward to the challenges it will bring, the experience and the next chapter of my life!

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams and life the life you imagined"

Love to all

Exciting Update =)

Hey Guys,

Just an update on my life and some cool news. Two years ago when i started my own business i was asked by the Skin care company DermaQuest to go work for them down in London for the Professional Beauty trades show at ExCel. I loved every minute of it. The Sunday is for trade only and the monday is for students and open public. People like Katie Price aka Jordan were there along with others such as Amy Childs. I was on products and had great fun chatting to potential clients about the products and the company. The company specializes in skin peels and advanced skin care which i'm really passionate about - so to ask me to come and talk to people about it all weekend YES PLEASE =)

I was very honoured to be asked to return last year - the stand was even bigger with more products, new science and technology within their products, the weekend is always tiring but it's an absolute blast.

You can imagine my excitement when i received a phone call on Wednesday asking me to return again this year. As there are thousands of beauticians in the industry for you to be chosen by a CEO to join a company and work for them is a massive compliment. So this February i'm going back down to the good ol Capitol London for the weekend. If any of you are going i hope to see you there, pop on over to the Youngblood and Dermaquest stand. I believe im on the Youngblood mineral make up stand this year - providing make overs and information on why mineral make up is the way forward. People like Kimberly Walsh use Youngblood.

I can't wait to learn lots of new things on this weekend and look forward to sharing my experience and new information on skin care with you guys.

If you have any questions you wish me to answer leave a comment below and i will. Here are a few photos from last year.

I'll keep you updated =)

night loves
